1. The service
Inbox.Cheap provides receive-only email addresses, a web inbox, an API, and read-only sharing links. It does not send or reply to email. Our website is inboxcheap.com; inbox.cheap also hosts shared inbox links. inboxcheap.com email addresses are reserved for official communications.
2. Accounts and access
Provide accurate registration information and keep passwords, API keys, and shared inbox links secure. Email-and-password registration currently requires a verified Gmail address. You can also use Google sign-in with a verified Google account, including non-Gmail addresses. Google sign-in may create a Free account automatically or sign you in to an existing linked account. Google authentication does not give us access to your Gmail inbox. See our Privacy Policy for Google data handling and revocation instructions. You are responsible for activities performed with your credentials. Anyone holding a shared link can read the latest 10 messages in that inbox. Reset links to revoke access.
3. Plans and address lifecycle
Plan prices, active mailbox limits, minimum prefix lengths, and available domains are listed on our pricing page. Annual prices are billed for a full year upfront. Reserved prefixes cannot be registered. Retiring an inbox stops new mail and shared access. Retired addresses are never reassigned. Retirement does not itself erase previously received messages; messages can be deleted separately. A downgrade does not automatically destroy existing inboxes but restricts new creation according to the current plan. Included enterprise receiving domains require separate provisioning.
4. Subscriptions and billing
When paid checkout becomes available, orders are processed by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle acts as Merchant of Record for those transactions, handles payment processing and applicable transaction taxes, and administers payment-related support and refunds. Paddle’s buyer terms and refund policy apply to purchases processed through Paddle. Our paid checkout is currently not open for purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the applicable monthly or annual interval unless canceled. You can cancel through Paddle’s customer portal, the link in your receipt, or by contacting support. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period and prevents subsequent renewal charges. It is separate from a refund request. See our Refund Policy.
5. Acceptable use
Use the service only for lawful purposes and comply with third-party service terms. Do not use it for fraud, phishing, impersonation, unlawful content, unauthorized access, account abuse, or attempts to evade security controls. Do not disrupt the service, probe other users’ inboxes, or distribute another person’s private messages without permission. We may restrict access to investigate abuse or protect the service; mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.
6. Availability and limitations
Email delivery can depend on senders, spam filtering, DNS, network conditions, and third-party infrastructure. We do not guarantee delivery of every message or uninterrupted availability. This is not an end-to-end encrypted email service or a backup service. Do not rely on temporary addresses as the sole recovery method for critical accounts. You are responsible for evaluating whether the service fits your use case.
7. Privacy, support, and changes
Our Privacy Policy explains data handling. Contact us for product issues, account closure, or complaints. We may update these terms and will provide notice where required. Changes do not remove mandatory rights or retroactively override the terms applicable to a completed transaction. Nothing here excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
